The Plot: Raizo (Rain) is an orphan, he was adoped and trained to be the most powerful assassin by Ozunu Clan which is a secret society of assassins. One day, Raizo make up his mind to stop working for Ozunu because he found his friend murderd by that Clan. He began preparing to exact his revenge. Mika Coretti (Harris) is a Europol agent, she found a series of political murders related to an underground network from the Far East. Raizo saved Mika Coretti’s life when Ozunu planning to kill her. Raizo and Mika Coretti decided to destroy the Ozunu’s assassin network…
The film cost US$10 million. Germany’s Federal Film Fund provided $9 million and Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg provided additional fund. It is said that the famous director James McTeigue got inspiration from the 2008 film Speed Racer. The actor Rain deeply impressed him in that film. he played as a ninja fighting splendidly. James McTeigue didn’t satisfy the original script, he hired J. Michael Straczynski to Rewrite the script 6 weeks before the production start. I think Ninja Assassin will be the most popular film about ninja recent years, because the actor Rain is very famous in Asia. His acting will attract millions of his fans.
