Who knows not the legendary director Steven Spielberg; War Horse is the latest movie in his under direction which is going to be released on December 28th 2011 in United States and in the release date in UK is January 13th 2012. The movie is based on children fiction novel by Michael Morpurgo which is actually inspired by the World War 1 incidents and happenings. Its first publication appeared in 1982 and then in 2007 it was staged as well in the same name.

This is an epic adventure thus revealing the thrill and excitement as the location and setting is executed in World War 1. The movie embarks on with the extraordinary companion ship between a young boy Albert and his horse Joey which have this bizarre kind of relationship with each other. He trains the horse and in the due course of action they become everything for each other. But then they are departed vehemently and the horse endeavors to find his way back to Albert.

His journey back to his friend stumbles upon other characters like a German soldier, a French farmer and his granddaughter and a British Cavalry who seek inspiration from him. This scorching expedition of the Horse is through a war and finally he ends up reaching the climax of emotions and suspense. The story is undoubtedly a success and the makers of the movie are those who have the powers of adding brilliance to success and making it phenomenal either ways.

The origin of the book comes from Michael Morpurgo meeting veterans of World War 1. He thoroughly researched about the horses and the attitude that was adapted with them in the days of wars. Then one day he saw a young boy in a farm talking very considerately with the lovely horse. That mere action gave him the idea of conveying this message through a story of boy and his horse. The movie has not been designed to put a plain line of epic adventures only but it has a great message between the lines not only for any single person but for many countries, “its message provides a story that can be felt in every country”. These are the remarks by the director of the movie.

The cast of the movie involves Jeremy Irvine, Emily Watson, Peter Mullan, David Thewlis, and many more. All the cast has been selected according to their role. For instance, to play the character of a French man, the actor has been picked up from France. That is the quality of the director who knows how to bring the characters of a fiction book alive. Actually Spielberg likes to keep up the secrecy of the movie that is why no trailers are on show yet but this is what really going to make audience more eager to anticipate for the film.
The locations chosen for the movie are quite genuine for the portrayal of war and old times. The shootings have been filmed into north Hampshire, Wiltshire (comb castle), Wisley Airfield in surrey and some other places in France and UK. You could well imagine that the movie from Dream Works and director like Steven Spielberg would leave no room for error and loop holes in it. Even the author of the novel was highly impressed to meet him on set and he was much contented that his work has gone into safe hands. He loved and appreciated the way he was working on set. No wonder, a Spielberg’s movie is “much talked about” because his passion for work and his diligence makes everything extraordinary. Let’s just wait for December and see what a treat we are going to be served with!
